Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American as well as a Canadian musician and singer. She has released more than 20 albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. They also have influences from hip hop, jazz, and punk. Ani DiFranco was among the first musician to start her own label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, her parents Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco, who had met while attending in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
